When the going gets tough, friends are there to help each other. A group of women from the Polish Community Trust decided to support cash-strapped Multicultural Tauranga with a fundraiser.

Keen bakers in private and, some of them, experienced sales women in their day jobs, the group offered Polish cakes and other sweet delicacies which have proven to sell well at festivals and other occasions, on 11 June 2017 at the Lions Market in Papamoa. To shrug off the winter chill, hot soup was also on sale. The group raised an impressive $370, all of which go to Multicultural Tauranga.

Multicultural Tauranga is delighted and sends a big thank-you to the Polish women.
