It's not that easy to make it into the media. But sometimes it works, and we are trying our best to stand up and be counted. Whatever the angle is the media choose - every little bit of positive coverage helps.
Here is some of the most recent press coverage:

and as one of the performers at the 2014 Multicultural Festival. Another article, with photo, about the Polish group's performance, see here.
Putting a face to the figures of the 2013 census, the Bay of Plenty Times asked Margarete Kraemer why she had chosen Tauranga to settle in New Zealand.

A year earlier, another second-time-round Pole, Tomasz Krawczyk, settled in the Bay of Plenty with his wife Inka. His name comes up in the newspapers every time there is flooding in Whakatane and the District Council is required to provide a statement on the region's infrastructure.

While Ewa Fenn's stepping down as president of Multicultural Tauranga is certainly a loss to the organisation, her intention to focus even more on activities of the Polish Community Trust and the Polish Language School is good news to us. In 2015 she received an Award for Recognition of Services to Migrants in our Community. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/bay-of-plenty-times/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503343&objectid=11507389
