On 4 March 2017 the Polish Community Trust once again took part in the yearly Tauranga Multicultural Festival in the Historic Village. The Taste of Poland food stall presented a rich variety of delicious cakes, cookies, pies, jams and biscuits made by members of the Polish group. Cheesecakes were the biggest hit among the visitors.

Magdalena James and Marcin Polomka danced on stage with the Polish children to the Kaszuby folk song “Nasza Nenka”.  All proceeds went to the Polish Language School and cultural events promoting Poland.
