Vice President of Polish Community Trust, Ewa Fenn, received an award for services to migrants at a special ceremony at Western Bay of Plenty District Council's Community Committee meeting on 3 September 2015.
She had been nominated by two organisations: Multicultural Tauranga, where she has served in various capacities including her role as President; and English Language Partners, Bay of Plenty. Mike Williams: "Ewa is a great example of the value that people from diverse ethnic backgrounds bring to our communities and how we should embrace them and provide every assistance to make their transition as smooth as possible."
